Bobby J's Yamaha is proud to say that we are the oldest Yamaha dealership in the United States, dating back to 1956 when Yamaha first came to America. We believe that quality products, good prices, and great service account for our success for the past 50 plus years.
Bobby J's Yamaha is and always has been a family-owned business. Founder Bob Johnson (Bobby J) raced flat track on Indian® motorcycles in the early 1950's. Following in his footsteps were son, Stan, and nephew Vern Johnson. They raced Flat Track all across the U.S. and even earned National numbers and recognition.
Keith Johnson, son of Stan, spent his racing years in supercross, motocross, and arenacross. One of his racing highlights was winning the supercross Top Privateer award in 2003 and placing 9th overall in the series. Keith raced professionally for 11 years earning victories at National Races and decided to join the family business full time in 2009.
Kevin Johnson, also son of Stan, has racing in his blood as well. He has been racing supercross, motocross, and the arenacross series. He had the honor of winning Bronze at the Navy Moto-X Games in 2008, then going on to win Gold at the Summer X-Games that same year.
As you can tell, this family has a passion for motorcycles. We also have a staff that is passionate about motorcycles, as well as ATV's and personal watercraft. Their enthusiasm is contagious, but their knowledge is incredible.
We also strive to make sure we find Powersports enthusiasts to work with and take care of your needs. Most of our employees ride and race motorcycles as well. At Bobby J’s Yamaha we don’t just sell motorcycles , ATV’s and watercraft we actually ride them and understand them as well.
